My Story
HI, I’M RUBEN
Traveler, photographer, and adventure junkie.
Most days you can find me in my little studio usually forgetting to water my growing number of pot plants or down at the beach soaking up the rays, but let’s be honest I’m usually too busy flicking through the millions of photos I have open.
My name is Ruben, I’m a portrait and wildlife photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. I originally grew up on the east coast of South Africa, it was here that I not only discovered my love for wildlife but a passion for capturing precious moments in the form of photographs. Not too long to follow after I decided to start a photography business and professionally start making content on Instagram.
I’ve always challenged myself to learn new things, and have even started to do underwater photography and attempted to learn how to fly an FPV drone (my career ended early as I ended up crashing it on my second flight).
I enjoy traveling and have been fortunate enough to visit over 8 countries and get a different perspective of the world each time I visit a new place.
